SeaGIS 2.0 is a follow-up project to the SeaGIS project.
The main objective of the project is to promote a sustainable use of the marine environment and a responsible use of marine resources. Within the main objective, which is about ecological sustainability, the project aims to facilitate and inspire to blue growth in the region, i.e. that marine and maritime industries are enabled to grow. To achieve the objectives, the project will provide data, methods and collaborative networks that enable a more integrated planning and management of marine and coastal areas. SeaGIS 2.0 strives to find common solutions to achieve ecological, economic and social sustainability and development in the region.
