London, UK

This seminar will consider the priorities for UK and devolved Governments in developing a post-Brexit fisheries management regime which supports the fishing industry and coastal communities, the marine environment, and the wider food sector. Delegates will assess priorities for the UK’s negotiating strategy as it moves away from the EU Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), looking at options for a new allocation mechanism for quota shares after Brexit, access arrangements to Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ) with neighbouring countries, and the application of import and export tariffs within the EU market.
