This year's conference is all about the future of the North Sea Region. The European Union prepares for a new budget period with new programmes. The North Sea Commission is starting to write a post-2020 North Sea Region strategy. What are the takeaways from current policies and projects that we want to see in future strategies and programmes? The conference is jointly hosted by the North Sea Commission and the County of Østfold in Norway.

Topics that are in strong focus at this event include:

  • The future role of regional cooperation in the North Sea Region.
  • Results and impacts of transnational cooperation projects and initiatives in the region.
  • The value of regional cooperation in addressing the core challenges of the North Sea Region.
