The conference is organised by the Task force for urban and metropolitan areas of the Committee for Spatial Economy and Regional Planning, Polish Academy of Sciences, the Task force for the integrated development policy for Europe and Poland of the Committee for Spatial Economy and Regional Planning, Polish Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, the Faculty of Architecture of the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Maritime Institute in Gdańsk, the Institute of Development in Sopot and the European Regional Science Association Polish Section.

  • First plenary session (in English): How marine space is shaped if people live outside
  • Second plenary session (in English): Planning the sea and coastal zone

The second day of the conference will be in Polish only.
