The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) responsible for testing, approving and monitoring of the offshore wind turbines and structures in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), published evaluation projects on the adequacy of areas N-3.7, N-3.8 and W-1.3. All sites are located in the German EEZ. The areas N-3.7 and N-3.8 are situated 30-40 km north of the Borkum Island, while the area W-1.3 is located 40 km northeast of the Rügen Island. The evaluation is published as a part of the BSH involvement in the strategic environmental assessment. The public is invited to comment on published materials until 28 May 2020. All comments will be discussed on 17 June 2020.
