The 2018 Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region will focus mainly on EU cohesion policy after 2020 and the future of EU macro-regional strategies ("After 2020"). Other key topics: 'Environmental state of the Baltic Sea' and 'Digitalisation'. The main theme of the 9th Annual Forum will be the Baltic Sea region after 2020. The Forum will focus on how to improve the implementation of the EUSBSR in the framework of the future EU Cohesion Policy. It will also discuss the current state of the ecosystem in the Baltic Sea as well as how to advance the Region as a global digital hub. 800 stakeholders from all around the Baltic Sea region will gather to discuss the development and cooperation in the Baltic Sea region on a wide range of themes ranging from regional development, smart specialisation, sustainable blue growth, the environmental state of the Baltic Sea, digitalization, and transport connectivity to cooperation with neighbours. The Forum will include a workshop on the topic of “MSP- the end is where it begins: implementing MSP in a Pan-Baltic context”. All participants have to register via the online registration form. Online registration will be available up to 18 May 2018.
